Innovative solution for Adaptive radiotherapy

Aurora-RT combines a linear accelerator (Linac), with real-time (concurrent) Magnetic Resonance imaging to deliver cost effective adaptive radiotherapy to cancer patients.

Aurora MR Linac
The Aurora RT™ is a MR Linac device that is far superior by design to anything available in the world today
The Aurora RT™ combines high quality MR images with a 6 MV linear accelerator.
This makes the Aurora RT™ uniquely suited for adaptive radiotherapy.
The machine is designed to provide excellent images prior to treatment for accurate patient alignment, as well as real time MR imaging during beam delivery to allow advance gating of tumor tracking features.
—Large Patient Opening 110 x 60 cm Bore
—Ability to make lateral shifts to treat isocentrically
—Open magnet minimizes claustrophobia
—Full 360 Degree Gantry Rotation
—Large Field Size (30 cm Circle)
—Full Resolution 5 mm leaves
No beam distortion nor ERE resulting from the parallel setting of the magnet and the beam generating device.

The Aurora RT™ can move patients’ side to side (laterally) allowing the treatment of peripheral tumors resulting in less damage to healthy tissue and a more accurate treatment.
The ability to laterally adjust a patient is crucial to treat all types of cancer in an efficient manner, broadening the clinical scope of Aurora RT
Significant improved precision will allow additional clinical indications that are conventionally treated with radiation while reducing the side effects.
